Cagliero Missionaries 2010

cag2010

The week 18-23 January has seen seven Cagliero missionaries at Lysterfield. They have been working through a number of exercises, having encounters with a psychologist, with representatives of the new cultures that they will encounter in the year that lies ahead of them – and enjoying one another’s company and celebrating in a very typical Salesian fashion.

Cagliero Missionaries for 2010

Lauren Bicknell, with strong support from John Papworth, has worked hard to get this group together, from the many expressions of interest and eventual applicants. For the first time in the brief history of the Cagliero Project, the bulk of the new missionaries do not come from the Dromana Leaders, but have either just finished tertiary studies or have been in the work force for some years. Particularly exciting is the support given by Dominic College, Glenorchy. They have freed Simon Natoli from their administration centre to pursue his desire to be part of the Project. This is a wonderful contribution of the Province to Don Bosco’s mission in the Region.

The following people and places will be blessed by the Cagliero Project in 2010:
