Don Bosco Formation House

The Don Bosco Formation House in Clifton Hill, just outside Melbourne, is a vibrant place with a number of young Clerics and Brothers who are undertaking their initial formation. A number of these young men come from South East Asian countries to undertake studies in Australia.

On Sunday 9th May, the community welcomed a new young Salesian from Thailand. Br Nattawut Kitsawad [known as Por] was welcome by Fr Bernie Graham, the Vice Provincial, and a fellow Thai Salesian Brother Jack. Por has joined the Don Bosco Formation community to do some English study at Australian Catholic University for the rest of 2016. He is hoping to begin theological studies at Catholic Theological College in 2017.

In addition to the young Clerics and Brothers from Thailand, Vietnam, Madagascar and East Timor, there are two young Australians from Melbourne studying Education and Music respectively for their initial formation.

Any young man interested in Salesian vocation and life at Don Bosco Formation House, please contact  the Vocations Animator Fr Will Matthews SDB.
