Fr Klement visited Rupertswood and Brunswick

The Regional Councilor of East Asia and Oceania, Fr Vaclav Klement SDB, had been busy visiting some communities, meeting with Salesians and their works in Melbourne.

On Saturday, 8th November, Fr Klement visited the Salesian Community in Sunbury. He was taken a tour around the Salesian College Rupertswood by the rector and the provincial of the Australia-Pacific province. He paid a special visit to the Salesian cemetery in the college ground to pay tribute to those Salesians who dedicated their lives in this province. Following the tour, Fr Klement shared a light lunch with the community.

Later in the day, Fr Klement visited St Margaret Mary’s parish in North Brunswick. He was welcome by the parish priest and Economer of the province, Fr Anthony Nguyen SDB, and two Vietnamese Salesian Sisters and a Salesian Brother who are actively involved in the education of Vietnamese young people in the Parish Centre.

Fr Klement is in Australia for the meeting of the Youth Ministry Delegates of the region. He will be visiting Australia, Samoa, Fiji and New Zealand again in 2015 for the Extra-Ordinary Visitation.
