Rupertswood Salesians spent a day of Recollection

The Salesian community at Rupertswood, Sunbury, spent their Quarterly Day of Recollection at St Brigid’s parish church in Gisborne on Friday 16th August, the 198th birthday of St. John Bosco.

The theme of the day is to reflect on the program proposed by the Rector Major on the spirituality of St John Bosco. This program goes from 16th August 2013 to 15th August 2014.

The confreres read and reflected on the letter of the Rector Major in the morning and shared among themselves in the afternoon.

The day was concluded with a Eucharist led by Fr. Bert Fulbrook SDB, offering particularly for Salesian vocation.

Five Salesians are currenty in the Salesian community at Rupertswood, three actively served in the college, one in the local parish, and one happily retired.
