Salesian Cooperators in Samoa

On Friday 11th May, a group of Samoan Salesian Cooperators gathered at the community chapel in Alafua, Samoa for a monthly gathering under the guidance of Fr Taisali Leuluai.

Fr Will Matthews, who was on his canonical visitation to Alafua Community, presided over the Eucharist at 6:00pm. He was con-celebrated by the Delegate of the Pacific, Fr Petelo Vito Pau and all members of the community present.

In his homily, Fr Will explained the role and responsibility of Salesian Cooperators is to help the young in need with reason, religion and loving kindness in their own situations.  Following the Eucharist, all Cooperators and the Salesians of Alafua community shared a meal together in the community dining room.

  1. Dear Fr William Mathews,
we have been instrumental in building an orphanage in Bangalore in India and since it has been a great success, we are looking at other Salesian venues to donate and help in construction.
we have some funds in Australia and would like to know more about your need at Nasinu.
Our organisation is Bosco-Adams foundation, started by my son Ashton Adams about 8 years ago. we hold functions almost every year for the Bosco children.
    Kind regards
