Fellow Citizen of Don BoscoOn 16th November, the City Council of Turin passed unanimously a motion awarding honorary citizenship to Fr Pascual Chávez Villanueva, Rector Major of the Salesians.

The document of approval states that as “the Salesian Family has always collaborated with the Turin local authorities for the benefit of young boys and girls and of the workers, with schools, oratories and projects to prevent juvenile hardship” and in addition “Citizenship is awarded also in consideration of the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Salesians and of how they  make Turin known in every continent.”
