Sr Edna Mary visited Sunbury

The Provincial of the Salesian Sisters in the South Pacific Province, Australia-Samoa-Solomon Islands, Sr Edna-Mary MacDonald, visited the Salesian College in Sunbury as part of her canonical visitation to the Sisters’ community in Broadmeadows.

Sr Rochelle Lamb, a member of the Broadmeadows community, is a part-time staff member who oversees the liturgy and music in the life of the college.

During the special morning tea, a college deputy principal, Dr Michael Grace, officially welcomed and introduced Sr Edna-Mary to the college community. Sr Edna-Mary also thanked the college community for their work with young people and encouraged them not to give up on any individuals.

Following the morning tea, the College Rector, Fr Will Matthews, took Sr Edna-Mary for a tour around the Year 9 Mazzarello Campus, and the Salesian Community’s Residence near the college.
