The Salesians of Don Bosco celebrate 100 years of their presence in Australia in 2023 and centenary celebrations begun at the Mother House in Sunbury, Melbourne on 24th January, the feast day of patron St Francis de Sales.
The Cagliero Project is an initiative of the Australia-Pacific Province that provides overseas volunteer experiences for people who wish to work with disadvantaged young people.

“Do everything through love, nothing through constraint” is the theme that the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, has chosen for the 2022 Strenna, inspired by St Francis de Sales, in a timely celebration of the 400th anniversary of his death, due to take place in 2022.
On Friday 19 November celebrations were held at Dominic College, Glenorchy, Tasmania to mark the 75th Anniversary of the arrival of the Salesians in Glenorchy.
